I’m a seasoned athlete with a depth of experience in multiple sport and athletic endeavors. While I may have come to my athleticism later in life, I have embraced the challenge and vitality that an active lifestyle brings. My first running race occurred while I was in my 40’s. At the age of 50 I competed in my first triathlon, and therein the seeds of my passion were sown. I’ve been racing and training ever since.
As a highly competitive athlete, I began to seriously pursue the very best in training, first as an athlete, and then with a curiosity and drive that has landed me both on the podium, and into a new career as an athlete trainer. Along the way I continued to compete, including earning a spot and participating in the USAT National Olympic Championships in 2011 and 2012.
I am both a USA Triathlon Certified Coach and a USA Cycling Certified Coach. I have received several years of training and mentoring with a strength trainer and coach and have developed an outcome-based philosophy that focuses on functional strength to support my athletes’ specific needs.
Besides triathlon I also race TT and cyclocross.
