Blue Fire Fitness officially began in 2005, when I became a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM. In reality, it was formed about 30 years prior when I was a little girl, running through the fields of my parent’s property. I loved the first days of spring when I would take off my shoes and run barefoot through the pastures. I wasn’t an All-American high school athlete or Olympic champion, I just have always loved to move. I have found movement, mostly swimming, cycling and running to be basic necessities of my life. It helps me to feel balance both physically and emotionally, has brought me self confidence, taught me important life lessons, brought me many wonderful friends and strengthened my faith. As I train, race and coach, I try to remember those moments, running through the fields as a child, when movement is pure, fun and just feels good. I hope that training and racing finds you remembering those moments and creating new moments of your own.
I work with all beginner and novice triathletes, sprint thru IM distances.
