Hi! I’m Ben Kessel, the head coach of the Priority Fitness Endurance Squad. I grew up in Brooklyn, New York as both an athlete and a student of human movement. As a kid I played a lot of different sports, and capped my youth athletic career as a collegiate Lacrosses goalie. As a teen, I worked in my father’s Chiropractic office and learned about the body and human movement. I earned a degree from SUNY Buffalo in Personal Health & Wellness Training (a combo of exercise science, pre-med, nutrition, and psychology).

I picked up multi-sport endurance athletics in my mid-20s as I was running more and coaching more endurance athletes for strength and conditioning. I fell in love with the training, coaching, and community. I feel very fortunate and honored to part of the process of guiding and coaching others to reach their goals and aspirations.

First time finishers in anywhere from 5K to Ultra Marathon

Multiple age group and overall podiums in both running and triathlon events

Boston Marathon qualification

ITU World Championship qualification
